A hand-thrown stoneware vase with a gently waisted cylindrical shape and a softly flared rim. The surface is richly textured and decorated with raised spiral motifs, plus a small applied lug near the shoulder.
It has a tactile, earthy quality typical of mid-century studio pottery. Display it on its own as a sculptural piece, or fill it with dried branches, grasses or a few tall stems. It sits beautifully on a console, shelf or dining table alongside timber, linen and stone.
